Moulton Village festival Parade 2022
We had a fantastic time at Moulton Village Festival Parade 2022 celebrating 70 years of Science in honour of the Queen’s platinum jubilee. Thanks and well done to everyone who helped out or took part. We won 1st prize in the “group on foot” category ! Here’s to next year!
EGGCITING EGGSERIMENTS WITH GROWING TOGETHER AT BLACKTHORN COMMUNITY CENTRE!
Professor Ham was back at Blackthorn Community Center this week running workshops for Growing Together. We all had great fun doing a variety of egg related experiments for Easter. Including walking on eggs and making egg carrying cars before running them down ramps and smashing them in to the wall to see whose egg survived!

Hello! Professor Ham’s Science Club is excited to announce that we will be resuming face to face clubs in September 2021! We will continue to provide on-line sessions via Zoom, with all kit delivered to your door, but we will also have a club at Moulton Community Centre on Wednesdays. A year of Science via Zoom with Professor Ham’s Science Club!
It’s incredible to realise that this week will be the final one for this academic year. Here at Professor Ham’s Science Club we are celebrating a whole year of on-line clubs! This means we have now done twice as many on-line sessions as we did in a physical setting! It’s been a steep learning curve, but everyone involved has had fun along the way. The Prof. is looking forward to spending the summer testing exciting activities and experiments for next year! Professor Ham’s Science Club Blog 17/5/21
Two years ago I had a stall at Moulton Festival to promote and raise money to start Professor Ham’s Science Club. No-one would have guessed then how much could change during that time! Despite everything we are still going from strength to strength, albeit in a different format to my original plan!
Covid 19 has caused many changes, one being that Moulton Festival is not running in it’s usual format again this year. So to mark the occasion in a Covid-safe manner I have decorated my house and will be running free science activities for any kids who happen to be passing as part of their daily exercise on Saturday 22nd May 2021.
From 10.30 – 12.30, and 2 – 4 they can have a go at making slime or extracting DNA from strawberries.
It’s FREE!!!
So come and have a go!
