Birthday Parties

1 hour of science based activities suitable for kids aged between 7 and 11, to include one of your choosing from the list of hands-on activities below, plus a few demos from me which the birthday child can help with and finishing with making puffy glow-in-the-dark slime which the kids can take home.

Choose one of the following:

a      Make a torch to take home and keep.

b      Make a balloon powered car to race and take home.  

c      Make and experiment with alginate beads and worms (Similar to Orbies) (not to take home)

d      Fizzing colour change reactions (not to take home)

£150 for up to 10 children

£180 for up to 15 children

£225 for up to 20 children

£350 for up to 30 children

I provide all resources and equipment, including lab coats for the children to wear, and invitations for you to print off or send by email, WhatsApp etc.

You provide the venue, where it is best if the children can sit or stand around tables, although they could manage on the floor. I will need a table and access to an electric socket please. I will arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of my session to set up and will require a similar amount of time to clear away afterwards. The kids will need to be able to wash their hands before eating. The children will remain the responsibility of the adult/adults who book the party.

 

Once we have agreed a time and date, a deposit of £50 will secure your booking , with the balance due on the day of the party.

 

In the unfortunate event of a postponement due to unforeseen circumstances on either side (e.g. illness etc.) I will endeavour to reschedule at a mutually convenient time and date.

 

I am of course happy to provide a copy of my public liability insurance certificate and details for you to access my enhance DBS status, upon request.
